To do something good is a natural desire,but to make it practical we need cooperation,encouragement,determination,resources and above all blessing of God. In March 2005 two NRIs -Karnail Singh Nijjar(UK) and Baldev Singh Nijjar (Australia) came to their native village Nijjaran,near Jalandhar to spend their holidays. Baldev Singh had planned to donate some money to help to build Science Laboratory for village school. Due to some misunderstanding in the village people he was facing some problems so he asked Karnail Singh (UK) to cooperate. Both tried to bridge the gap between the people but in vain. Both were desperate and tired.

By chance they met Dr.Chetan Mehta and Mr. B,D.Sharma in Village Ayurvedic Dispensary. They told them that village dispensary was not in good shape. Government supply was not sufficient to meet the needs of the patients. Doctor and other staff were coming to the dispensary but they were poorly equipped to treat the ailing people. Moreover, buiding of the dispensary was in miserable condition.

God realised both desperate and dejected NRIs that if you really wish to do something, this is not less important. They discussed this idea with Lambardar Sohan Singh, Master Lachhman Singh, S.Gurbachan Singh Nijjar(USA), Giani Karam Singh and other village people. All of them supported the duo whole heartedly. They not even themselves gave the moral and monetary support for the cause but also motivated other donors to contribute.

The duo flagged the mission by providing the basic medicines and S. Gurbachan Singh Nijjar (USA) boosted it by donating diagnostic equipments Dr. Chetan Mehta and Mr. B.D Sharma are exemplary employees/missionaries. NRIs, village people and other donors are supporting this noble cause. We are very encouraged and hope to expand our activities in other areas such as education, sports, pollution and other welfare fields.
